    1 quick qestion...

    If I can hear a slight clicking of the neutral switch, when moving the shifter forward and back very slowly,to the neutral position on the shifter, does that mean that my neutral safety switch is working properly?

    Hi again, I have a 1999 Four Winns horizon 170, with a 115 Hp Johnson motor....the question I have is: Is the neautral safety switch in the motor linkage, at the motor, or behind the forward/reverse shifter? I'm guessing behind the shifter, but am not sure....also if anyone has a ball park...

The problem I'm having, is that it runs fine, when you can start it....what I mean is that I take it out to the lake, and sometimes it starts, and other times you turn the key and NOTHING, no turning over, no click...
