I've heard alot about water impellers. I think mine is out. There is no pee and it smokes when it runs. Is the impeller the problem? Will this cause the motor to cut out?

the inlet needle on my carb sticks when i push on it. It wont release properly. Ive tried wd-40 and gas/oil. Does anybody have any answers? Im stumped and frustrated. Thanks.
I replaced the inlet gasket on the carb of this motor. But when I put the pin float lever pinion back in, it does not seem to fit right. Does the hooked piece or flat piece go closest to the inlet needle.

I have just rebuilt the carb and replaced the check valves in the fuel pump along with all gaskets. Im not getting a continuous pull on the gas/oil mix. It runs for a second when i put gas/oil directly into the carb but wont stay running. Also, when i take off the hose from pump to carb and...

so i took the fuel pump apart and took some pictures. My question is...does the diaphram and the screen/filter look ok? Should the diaphram look that flexible or should it have more tension?

I cant get my motor to turn over, gurgle, or have any reminents of starting. It has been stored for over a year now. I dont know if it might be the fuel pump or a dirty carb. The carb looks clean inside and out. Im stumped. Any advice would be great.

I have spark on one of the two cylinders on this 1972 merc. I've heard it might be the coil but which one? How do I get the other cylinder to spark? New to this stuff so I'm looking for any help I can get. SN# 3275803.
