Dealer has installed the engine and leg and I have been taken this new rig out on the water.
When I adjusted one of my transducers I did see a quick connector being plapping in the wind between the lower leg and the lower gear box on the front of the leg.
My question is should I leave this or...
Like to know the pro's and contra's of fitting a heat exchanger system to a (new) Mercruiser V6 4.3lt MPI inboard.
Will it add to the engine in running better, a bit warmer due to recirculating glysol and lasting due to non corrosive seawater being used in heads.

Propellor Question;
Have a 21ft boat, 165HP mercruiser, that runs great on it's original prop; 17 Pitch 16 diameter. (48 66450 AS4 17P) but getting worn out a bit.
Have also a still new 13 3/4 diameter 21 pitch propellor. (48 79576 A4 21P)

Have a Mariner 8HP (2 cilinder)that has a stuffed peg leg.
Motor is from around 1980 and the lower leg has a Yamaha symbol cast into it.
What other (Yamaha?) outboard engine leg can I use to get this little gem running again?

Someone had this engine 1978 140HP Mercury blue band, including all the trim/tilt and contolbox plus connections) laying on their lawn waiting for the bulk rubbish to collect it.
Paid them some $$ and loaded it into my trailer.
