i didn’t take the engine side part yet but Everything i Pat the engine side looks ok; however, I didn’t take it apart. I was assuming (I know don’t assume) I’d loosen the nut on that side engine when I was ready to pull the old cable out. Do I need a new tail piece as well?

I’m talking about the steering box. With that in mind, I would remove the two bolts hold the top jacket and not worry about the bottom jacket? do I understand that correctly. I do appreciate the help.

I have 2012 90hp Mercury four stroke. This weekend the steering cable broke. However when I look under the helm there are two cables coming out of the box. A larger black cable that runs to the push rod on the outside of the motor. That cable is fine. There is a smaller diameter gray...

I called Perko this morning and got the correct Part Number based off our filler.

Sorry I missed it said Perko. Tough crowd. Just looking for some help. There is only one in the Perko Catalog that will work. I’ll order that one

Here is the latest update. I did find one that fit (Attwood) and did see that my filler is a Perko. Here are some pics but I think I now know the correct size needed.

I can seem to any markings, how hard is it to replace the neck? I’ll have to check that

The 1 1/2” is too smal. It fits inside the exiting threaded filler tube. I simply measured the cap that does fit but I am struggling to fit a replacement

Unfortunately the chain broke on my gas cap and it is now lost. I am having a hard time finding a replacement that fits. The threads are roughly 1 3/4” across. I see lots of 1 1/2” but cannot find anything larger. does any one have any ideas on where I can go?
