Here is the latest update. I did find one that fit (Attwood) and did see that my filler is a Perko. Here are some pics but I think I now know the correct size needed.
The 1 1/2” is too smal. It fits inside the exiting threaded filler tube. I simply measured the cap that does fit but I am struggling to fit a replacement
Unfortunately the chain broke on my gas cap and it is now lost. I am having a hard time finding a replacement that fits. The threads are roughly 1 3/4” across. I see lots of 1 1/2” but cannot find anything larger.
