Thanks for all the replies. Just throwing something out there to see if it is feezable.
Not sure it is something I am going to do,at least right away, but I think it is removable without taking the deck off

What I was looking at was in the future should I have shallow water anchors installed would be power poles, the extra room would be for pumps. Have heard bad things about Talons.
Hey all hope this post is in the right place. Here goes I have a 2016 Ranger RT178c it currently has a 21 gallon fuel tank obviously for tournament runs way more than I need, and takes up to much space in th e bilge compartment. 21gal will last me nearly all spring and most of fall since I...
Personal opinion I would not deploy off the side for the simple reason it would possibly be vulnerable to hitting the dock. Would not be a cheap fix should that happen. Would also not be an easy to see the direction the head is in when you are using it.
As for as raising the deck to accommodate...
Thanks for the reply Chris. The first time it stuck in the up position I took it to my local dealer he got it down but did not indicate that this motor has a trim limit switch, that would be an easy fix if it had 1. I will do some research on that.
On your 2nd suggestion it only sticks when it...

Appears to me to be a livewell timer. Forgot what the number on it was but I had a Lowe bass boat and this looks very similar to the timer on that boat. Assuming you have a livewell.
Further research I believe it is a Rig Rite 520 timer.

Hopefully simple question for you all.
Will a 2015 Mercury 60 hp 4 stroke charge an AGM battery without damage. I would like to replace my lead acid battery with an AGM when it dies.
Thanks in advance

Good point on the lithium. Just for the record I ended up buying an Everstart from Wally World (way to tight for lithium at this point). They boast 101ah and 690 mca, for about $80 before tax. So far so good it has performed as I was hoping.
Just to put this to bed.
I ran a dedicated power wire and an extra wire for the pump auto function to a single pole double throw switch used the existing wiring for the manual mode and the ground. Pump works as it should. With the dedicated power wire I can use the pump and have the main power...
