How To Remove This Prop Help Needed

Ditto on the Security Nut on the Prop, a real pain when you don't have the Key. I really am not fan of these, as there is no locking of the Prop Nut preventing it from backing off on its own,

I was ‘That’ guy at the ramp coming in yesterday.

And the Eye should be below the Stop, whether it is a Roller or a V Block

If the Strap goes under the Bow Stop on the Winch Stand, how would it get pulled above it?

How long after you were done the seafoam treatment, did you replace the plugs? If you replaced them, right after using the Stuff, and before you ran the Engine, that may have fouled them Have you looked at them? Keep in mind, these engines do not sit and purr like an Auto Engine at idle, well...

I know that when using Engine Cleaner, or Combustion Chamber Cleaner, after the stuff had sat in the Motor for a while, a Full Throttle Run either at the Lake, or on a Dyno was done to clear all the stuff out.

Perhaps the SeaFoam(I am one of the 'there are better Snake Oils than SeaFoam' people), fouled the Plugs, I can't remember if you had checked them Until you get all the missing, damage parts on the Linkage replaced, variations in Timing, and the Carbs-Ignition Sync is likely, and that can make...

Merc never used to specify a Number. Instead they would say as long as the Numbers weren't lower than 15% of the Highest you were good to go. Of course if the Highest was low... Gauges can be wonky too. Personally if any were lower than 105 - 110, I would be Leary, but that is just me Those are...

That is Good News, as very often those wells are full of the things I mentioned earlier. Verify the Float Level while it's apart. A closed Carb has no effect on a 2 Strokes Compression numbers as Air can enter the Combustion Chamber via the Exhaust Ports. 4 Strokes are a different Animal...

I think a Sheetrock screw would pose a greater Threat, as once it get a bite it is going forward. As for metal shavings, you are removing it to clear out Gum, Varnish, and Dirt, so a few Metal Shavings are likely larger than any of the Dirt in there. That Crank Seal looks nice and dry

The Motors that utilized the Hole in the Piston, were called 'Power Ported'. The Block had to be redesigned to accommodate a Trench in the Cylinder Wall for an additional Transfer Passage While all Power Ported Motors were Direct Charge, not all Direct Charge Motors were Power Ported

While there was some Licence(have you ever seen a Company that doesn't stretch the Truth about it's Product?) used in Marketing the Direct Charge, it was still an Improvement over the older Cross Charge design.
