I am ready to tackle my impeller change, and have looked in a service manual for specifics on dis-connecting the shift linkage. I see a Brass connector above the lower unit with pins in it. I guess I could drive one of those out, but is there another way? I thought I saw mention of un-connecting...
Total newbie here, and I did do several searches! I recently bought a 2000 Nissan 6hp 4-stroke. I have found tons of info on changing the lower-unit oil, but nothing on a regular oil change? What is the consensus of oil change intervals?
