i have hot water comining out the muffler when on the water is this normal or is there a problem
i had the impeller replaced and the water pump rebuilt in may was going to get a new water pump but none avalible for my 73 130 chrysler one year motor

put my boat out in the water the last couple days and she cuts off in idle and sputters when i take off is this attirbuted to the fuel pump and filler bulb i think she just isnt getting the constant flow of fuel but im not sure can anyone help me out
:confused: i took my boat to the shop had it fixed they said it runs great but i get it on the water and doesnt start then the stater got really hot then doesnt spin aqnymore all i get when i try to start it all i get is a click and no starter movement i already ordered a new starter will be in...
took the boat to the shop and they put new shift throttle and tilt and trim cables on her then rebuilt the lower end she should run good as new find out tommorow will let you guys know thanks again for all your help;)
thanks to everyone who tired to help me fix my boat but i just decided to taker it to the shop and the shift cable waqs broke and while testing to find that tyhe throttle cable broke so getting it alol replaced with new ones and a new impeller and a tune up
i kinda AJUSTED the shift cable and my prop would sin at maybe 1500 rpm at full throttle should i ajust this farther to make prop spin at 5200 rpm any advise would help thanks
when i put it in the water it started and the propeller seemed to turn but when i get on the throttle it started to jerk then catch the stopped working but the motor keep running what can be the problem do i need a new lower unit or just new gears (new boat owner) any info will be greatly...
