Hoping someone can help me determine what has happened to my engine. Here is what happened: I have had my 1989 Bayliner Cierra 2755 Sunbridge for about a month, I have had it out over 10 times since, it has run great. Had it out over the weekend, I hit a huge wave & nearly caught air...
I am replacing the gasket on my intake mani. I am wondering the old one is really stuck on there, do I need to get every little speck of the old gasket off and down to the nice shiny mashined edge? I took a razor scraper and got 97% of it off, and it is nice and smooth. Is that good enough?
