    I am having trouble when I put power head back on ? It feels bound up when I try to pull.On drive shaft there is shock absorber spring that does not fully seat in brass cup washer that sets on pin in drive shaft? any ideas

    1958 CD 15 lower unit

    I put CD 15 LU on 1955 7.5 evinrude Model# 7518 it fits good only problem is prop off 7518 will not go on shaft far enough to get pin in. CD 15 has different looking case by the shaft?

    I changed To a Lower unit off 1958 CD 15 it fit good only problem is prop will not go on far enough to get drive pin in? It looks like CD15 has less shaft available because of A extra piece??

    :mad:Lower unit rebuild what parts do you reccomend I took apart o ring looked ok? shaft seal looked ok? gasket looked ok Barrel of water I test ran in was full of oil . Lower unit lube all milky.
