Hey ya'll I've got a 75 hp '63 Johnson motor, model number V4S-12 on '60 Larson V Haul.
So I got new plugs and wires in and then it started to rain, so I left my boat in the shade (not where I normally do) and when I can back out the next day, I just happened to pick up the ignition box and...
Okay so I have two questions I was wondering if you guys could help with with.

And I want to make sure I'm doing it right, you just strip the wire on...

Well my dad wanted to him and I told him the old wires wist out. And well he twisted the stop and not the bottom.
Will this effect the spark adversely? You can clearly see the one that was twisted on. :facepalm:

Okay, so a bit of pb got it to engage, and now the flywheel turns. But it does not start. I can hear the exhaust pop out so I know somethings moving in there..but I really dont think all four of the cylinders are firing..My guess would...

Im assuming this is the starter, and it wont go up to engage the fly wheel there for it wont start. :facepalm:
I'm so close to get this thing back on the water. haha I got it last fall and it hadnt been ran...
