    1 ohm resistance across 1987 50HP charging coil. Ok?

    I couldn't find a chart for this coil online. I don't believe I'm getting either charging or ignition voltage from this stator. I get 750 ohms on the ignition coil of the stator and just 1 ohm on the charging coil.

    Is this article true? I have had pretty good luck with Force motors.

    0.25 Volts AC from stator. But ohms out ok. What to check?

    My Force 50HP Stator coil should read around 750 ohms resistance which it does, and no continuity to engine ground.     Chrysler 15HP not as fast as a similar OMC?

    My dad tells me that he had a 15 of each brand and the OMC was a lot faster on the same boat. Is this normal or did he have a dud or poorly tuned engine?

    Is this amount of water spraying up normal operation for a Force 125?

    The prop is really spraying up a good bit of water. Is this normal? I have some sort of fin above the prop that looks aftermarket FWIW. I think this is normal but just wanted to run it by some other boaters.

    Sanding Points OK?

    Seems like the OMC points look a little different than say a set for a Briggs. Is it ok to sand them with 400 wet/dry paper?

    Engine trimmed 10-15 degress. Gas drip from top carb. Normal? See Photo.

    I started the engine on earmuffs a few days ago with the engine trimmed just a hair from straight up and down (say 12 degrees) I can see it's back spitting ever so slightly from the throttle butterfly. Is this ok?
