    Have 132 lbs each cylinder and new CDMS , New stator, New trigger, rebuilt fuel pump and carburetor and my manual is a Seloc Mercury 2 stroke 2001 to 2014 , 2.5 hp to 250 hp 1 to 4 cylinder ? Is there a better manual ? This one is not real clear

    Was out on the lake Thursday, thunderstorms lol , hid under a steel bridge in my aluminum boat lol Boat did much better but not reaching wot . Can anyone explain to me , in layman's terms how you go about setting the Cam roller and carb mixture , I rebuilt carb but its bogging down Thanks...

    Bullet, you gave me a good idea 💡 I adjusted the bottom link over a half inch out , timing went to 10 btdc , I adjusted trigger link to 9 btdc , then had to adjust wot roller cam and then wot screw off of stop then 1 turn on stop per manual. I haven't taken it to the lake yet but have good...

    I swear I think something is messed up where the trigger link rod attaches at throttle idk and it's a new trigger from CDI ELECTRONICS , I had no reason to doubt it was timed wrong or anything until I got her out on the water next day.     I don't have a tach hooked up yet but I'm pretty good or in the ballpark about RPMs. It's not idling high, in fact, if I go much lower it will shut off?

    But that's if you have the timing , running, idle in gear set at 7 to 9 btdc . I'm just thinking something is off in the linkage at idle idk buddy I've built race cars from the jig up , set timing 4500 rpm , but don't know much about 2 cycle boat engines obviously

    I don't know what full throttle timing is , manual says with engine off put it full throttle and back off that silver bolt from stop and then turn it clockwise until it hits stop and then turn 1 full turn and tighten nut at stop but wot timing is 28 degrees I really appreciate you helping me...
