    Thanks, Dave, and they are scammers, I just pulled # 1 top cyc. this is a 2 cylinder. and it is on 0 TDC with piston up. So that rules that out. The timing is showing 20 degrees BTDC. I cannot adjust the trigger link enough to even get close to 7 to 9 BTDC which is what the Seloc manual calls for???

And the carburetor is open 100 % at full throttle, now. I don't think I can adjust the link enough to get it to 7 to 9 BTDC. I'm going to take the top plug...

    is 8 degrees before TDC to the right of 0 TDC ? if so it's marked right. But timing light showing 25 to the left of flywheel markings 0 TDC ?

    You're right Dave and thanks. To the right of the flywheel timing marks is a white dot at 8 degrees. It's supposed to be set between 7 & 9 degrees BTDC It only goes to 20 I think to the right. To the left 0 TDC it goes to 40 I believe but my timing light showers it to the left of the TDC mark...
