    Then I flattened and surfaced the air horn and body to manifold using a piece of quartz countertop and some lapping compound. It did a excellent job of cleaning up the mating surfaces. Once done clean with brake clean and compressed air.

    24' Glasply, Aluminum or Stainless.....?

    As mentioned, both props are aluminum. A 2" pitch change would potentially raise the WOT to 5000- RPM on 15P and 4800 on the 16P, the 16 I had repitched to ~ 14.8 and now WOT is 4800.     The benefit to having it in the engine compartment is you can do a visual inspection of fluids, etc. when you open it up.
