    Hi all, I have an old 1988 Mariner 40hp.I wish to strip her down and rebuild.What is bothering me is what type of clear laquer can I spray over the fresh paint? Note that I don`t have a paint spraygun. Anyone with any idea? Cheers

    Hi, I have purchased a Mariner 40HP , serial# 67601.i have not collected the engine yet so its difficult to clarify anything.The seller says that 67601 is the model # ? It looks certainly like an 80`s model. Can anyone shed some light on this Many thanks

    My 50DR needs the steering bracket to be replaced(EXTREMELY RUSTY).I have removed the circlip from the underside of the steering shaft and noticed that it is splined.Does this tube require a press to remove or can I do the job in the garage? I have banged endlessly without the shaft even...

    I have a new short shaft 3.5 hp four stroke that has clocked only about 12hrs. The first 10 hrs was in fresh water and the last two done today on salt water.Occasionally it would lower its revs and die.I t would then restart with ease and go again for a few hundred metres before diong the same...
