    1988 4.3 OMC

    Was just out running my 88 4.3 OMC. If I don't excelerate slowly it will bog, floor it like there's a skier back there and she may die. Should I start with the carb and fuel system since it's been stored soo long. I am running premium with sea-foam. let me know what to look at first...BTW if...

    Garage Door Opener..

    My garage door will not open anymore. Looking at the inside of the door under the motor I have a broken spring and a broken cable on the right side? Is this something I can buy and replace or should I call someone when I can afford to. :confused:

    Lube is yellowish...

    1988 Larson with a 4.3 OMC cobra. I opened up to very top of the lower unit(some sort of oil/lube) it was clean, however it was kind of yellow in collor and a little foamy. I had just run her through the gears.

    Sounds like gears....

    I have an 1988 larson 17.5 foot with an OMC cobra 4.3 V-6. When cruising in a nice strait line and the trim just right all sounds great, however if I turn or trim up or down at all it sounds like theres a bearing or u-joint type "roaring noise" comes from the rear but kind of follows the floor...

    4.3 OMC...

    I took my 88 larson 18 foot with the 4.3 omc. I feel like it sounds loud, like there is engine noise or a motor mount going badno louder when in gear or not so I don't think its the drive. But it runs like mad. any ideas????sugestions???? :confused:
