    Major drive oil leak

    OK my drive is a 98 alpha one gen II. The oil is leaking out of the prop area even when the drive is in the trailer position. It is not leaking from the rear seals near the prop, but appears to be filling the lower housing and running out. I just had a friend replace the entire waterpump...

    another stuck gimble bearing question

    I cannot pull the gimble bearing out. The motor is out of the boat, but there is a grease seal pressed into the inner transom plate preventing it from being driven out from inside.. Is there a way to remove the inner seal without destroying it? Or is there a secret to pulling the bearing. Thanks.

    coupler and bellows question

    OK....tomorrow I start the project. I have a 98 searay 3.0 i/o. I will be replacing the coupler and doing the bellows/gimble bearing. I have a new coupler that was given to me with the used outdrive I purchased. My question is, The coupler is triangular, but it does not have a grease fitting...

    alpha one swap issues

    Alright.....heres what I've got. A 98 searay 175 that has no outdrive....and 89 searay 160 br that has no stringers left. It would be great to swap the outdrive from the 89 to the 98...but I've been told it won't work. Any ideas? I have everything on the 89.... motor to propeller.
