    Oil Pressure Sender Installation

    1999 7.4L MPI - I removed the oil pressure sender and the freeze plugs to paint the engine. There was a red substance on the threads. Anyone know what this was? Was it Loctite? I want to ensure I install them correctly so they don't leak. All suggestions welcome. Thanks.
