    Hey do you happen to know how to troubleshoot a electric choke not working. I used the factory wiring off my boat Wich had the 50 hp on it and the wires seem a little different the those that were on the boat I took the 85 off of Wich I could not use due to then being all boogered up.

    1990 Force....couple issues

    Have you tried pulling the carbs and cleaning them real good. Doesn't take that long and in my very little experience with outboards I've found that it fixes most of my issues just by a good cleaning

    Just to update I have the moter running. Replaced both cdi boxes with used ones off eBay and wired it by the diagram on the moter and firing on all three cylinders. Yeeehaaa. Thanks for all y'all's help. Now I'm in the process of putting it on my boat. Other issues but I'm gonna make another thread.
