    Got a 1989 85 hp on a 1991 17' Bayliner Capri. Right now I've got a 15" pitch 3 blade and I can get 25 mph maybe 30. It gets there real fast. What prop can I use to get some more top end.

    Just to update all those out there that has help me took boat out with family spent two days on the water camping and riding the boat. It done amazing. No issues at all besides the gas it was pounding lol. But besides that it done great. Thanks for all y'alls help

    If I loosen what I think your calling Choke body and move up just a little it works but won't close all the way. If I move it down were it can allow it to close all the way the choke won't work.

    Ok so my findings are it is definitely the choke adjustment. The butterfly is not closing all the way with key. The choke cylinder is up to high not letting it pull the butterfly all the way closed but if I my the choke cylinder down it will not work it tries but just clicks and don't pull down...

    Only thing is once I sprayed just a little gas in it she fired right up and then it would start just fine with no help.

    They are working right idk yet will double check today. It has a primer on the fuel line. It has the key switch choke. I know it's working but don't know if there closing all the way yet

    Well with a hint of pre mix in the carbs and she fired up and ran great. Thanking maybe choke issues. Although it is functioning I don't think they are closing all the way even manually.
