    Where can I find the gear ratio of my I/O?

    It is an Omc 800 with a 305. I got the numbers from the tag which are Model #: 982141 Serial#: W189291. Is there somewhere I can run these numbers to find out what gear ratio I have?

    How much speed will another 90hp get me?

    I know this is a general question but I have a 200hp omc 305. Boat weighs around 3000lbs and has trim (it's the boat in my avatar). I'm going to be doing some motor work on it and expecting to hit close to 300hp. What kind of top speed gains can I hope for?

    OMC 305.... top speed questions. Who has one?

    Boat weighs roughly 3500 lbs and with trim gets out of the hole great with the 17 pitch prop I have on it right now. I'm considering a 19 but want to know if a 21 pitch would be too much for the 200hp 305. Anyone running a 21p prop with a 305? What is your top speed and rpm?

    Hello... I have a 200 hp omc (305 chevy) in a 1978 galaxy trihull. I've been having problems with my trim getting stuck when put all the way up. Any suggestions? I can here the solenoid clicking so I know it's getting power.
