    3hp 3502 weedless gearcase on a on a 5 hp 5502 angler, both direct drive.

    I like light motors and love the weedless drive on my 3 lightwin but a little more power without extra weight would be awesome, so any way to make this work? Could buy a 5 hp evinrude angler 5502. I have a spare 1965 3502 weedless drive gear case. Driveshaft numbers don't jive though. ...

    looking for 5 hp internal tank johnson model no. from the 60's

    i passed on a white johnson 5hp a couple years ago that was a direct drive 5 horse with internal tank. no reverse, had to spin the motor. cant find anything about it, would like the model number if it wasn't my imagination, thanks.

    need thread pitch and size for lightwin crank shaft

    need to chase the threads on a 1965 3hp 3502 lightwin crankshaft. Need original size/thread pitch and if this don't work what size smaller die to use, thanks.

    3502 3 hp 1965 evinrude clack when pull starting

    Had to adjust coils and did that. I switched legs with a 1963 till i got a new impeller for it. Speed lever was moving to the left when trying to start so adjusted coils. Now there is a clack when pull starting and occasionally while running. going to put original leg back on today and go...

    lightwin Armature Plate swap

    Can i switch armature plates from a 63 (3302) light twin to a 65 (3502)? i have 2 65's and a 63 lightwins. The 63's coils, condensers, points are in good working order but unit has other issues and using it for what parts i can for the 65's. Haven't pulled the fly wheel off the bad 65 yet...

    any info on a lowe model 15combo. and vs grumman sport boat

    found a guy selling the combo 15 but cant find spec's for it in catalogs. before i drive 90 miles thought to check here. the price is better then the grummans i have looked at and pic looks like it is wider then the gsp in the stern at least.

    lower end seals needed when replacing impeller, '63 lightwin

    Going to replace impeller on a 3 hp. What else should i get and what else should be checked while it's apart? And where to buy parts, this site doesn't seem to list any for older motors. It's a 1963 3hp lightwin, thanks
