    4.3 Carter/Weber 9600 Carb Rebuild question - check ball

    Did Carter ever use just a check ball and spring in the main discharge nozzle circuit? All the pictures i see show a check ball and brass weight. When I took the carb apart last night I ended up with a check ball and a small tapered spring.

    My 1995 Genesis 4.3 with factory original 4 bbl is flooding. Is there a generic rebuild kit to use for this Weber carb or do I need to find the serial number? If one kit "fits all" can someone let me know what it is. Thanks!

    Draining Gas

    I have a 1995 Genesis, with Mercruiser 4.3 carb engine. Boat has been sitting for 2 years plus. I want ot drain the gas but there is limited access to the tank other than the fill hole. Is there and easy way you guys have learned to get the old gas out....I'm thinking of disconnecting the line...

    I just bought a 20ft 1995 Genisis with a 4.3 Mercruiser and Alpha outdrive - I presume. The only serial numbers I can find ( need impeller kit) are on the top of the outdrive (OF460491) and the unit the outdrive attaches to at the transom (OF481916). These numbers do not seem to match the...

    Just bought a 1995 Genesis 2001 (openbow) with the 4.3 carburated V6. Is the outdrive a Gen I or Gen II? Something else??
