volvo manufactures it with the snout so that only volvo pullys and dampers fit the crankshaft
.I converted from crankshaft pump to the Bravo type installed on a volvo
and machined a reliefe in the mercruiser pully to fit the crankshaft. pumps a lot more water too.
axel is too close to the frame
shackles extended a bit too far aft, probable fwd too.
springs look a bit flat for the load ,like theres no spring action
think about this . prop turns clockwise in fwd when under power. If you were to turn the input shaft clockwise you will see the prop turn clockwise for fwd gear.
