    If you mean it will run if you hold the key to start and stop when you release the key, you missing coil voltage when you release the key to the run position. If you have a coil you can access easily run a wire from the + battery to the + side of the coil for testing

    If it ran before you worked on it then review how you installed the dist. Is the engine set for number 1 cyl on its compression stroke. On comp stroke, set timing indicator to "0" deg on the balancer. install dist with rotor facing to number 1 on the dist cap,then install dist

    This is a better option instead of the Y fitting that gets clogged up just add the bushing for the blue plug in the straight section not the 90. Easier to insert a wire/rod to insure block draining, knock sensor in the 90 end

    you dont list an engine but if a V motor ,there are 2 core plugs on each side of the block near the bottom
