    My 84 4winns horizon 195 project.

Appreciate it! Meh.....Old upholstery gives a cabin that rustic vintage look! Gives it character! 🤣 And you're right. Boat will always be there.

    My 84 4winns horizon 195 project.

Hey, if you would be floating now, then you are not far from actually making that a reality!!! Do it right, get it done, and enjoy whatever you can get on the water out of this year yet if you can! I have a hectic schedule and probably won't be able to see my boat in the water until next year at...

Bought my first boat to cut, gut and rebuild from bow to stern, including engine. Killed my back and suffered the wrath of the fiberglass demons

Can I rent from you????🤣 Landlord is claiming that he's only doing it to match the rental prices within the surrounding neighborhood. I think it's BS....It's a choice to raise the rent.....Not a legal obligation. But this is also the same guy who told me 3 years ago that he was charging me less...

I gotta thank my better half for that!!!! I am a late bloomer, but was taught about 2 years ago how to budget in a manner that really works well for me and I have been able to save up a good chunk of money since, on top of having fun money to play with as well!

Bought my first boat to cut, gut and rebuild from bow to stern, including engine. Killed my back and suffered the wrath of the fiberglass demons

It's a tough world out there in the job market. I can not speak for everyone else, but fortunately for me....my job pays well, so after budgeting all my bills, I still have a chunk of "fun money" to do whatever I wish without it impacting my financial obligations. Some of that fun money now...

Bought my first boat to cut, gut and rebuild from bow to stern, including engine. Killed my back and suffered the wrath of the fiberglass demons

I tell ya what......Rent just got jacked up 200.00. That's an increase of 400.00 in 3 years. Having extra money to spend on this boat just got even more difficult.😭🤬

Bought my first boat to cut, gut and rebuild from bow to stern, including engine. Killed my back and suffered the wrath of the fiberglass demons

Yes. I added about a cup of cabosil to a cup of resin. Wanted something a little thicker to help stay put while glassing on a vertical surface. What do you think about the whiter spots on the 1708 vs clear spots? It's all dry and rock solid. Is it still good?

A little filleting with pb mixed with csm.... some tabbing with csm.... and a layer of 1708. Such a mess. Gonna have to grind some more when I can. I put a layer of csm over the outside of that Crack from the little platform at the rear of the boat. Csm looks practically invisible when...

Looks like I'm safe from the heat we just had! Does resin evaporate? I don't remember using that much already lol. It's in the basement now.

Thanks! I will check on it when I get home and see if I can't move it to a cooler area without it getting everything sticky LOL

Just a quick question while I wait to get back out there.... Currently, I have the resin and mekp stored in the tent on the ground under the boat. it gets pretty toasty in there with no airflow when I am not working. Will this compromise the resin or mekp at all?
