    I put my fingers on the butterfly valves. While moving the throttle and they are moving before the click sounds. So you are probably right about the accelerator pump.

    it is a Mercarb it has one mixture screw. I will look for the serial number on the carb when I get home today.

    Serial number of engine 4920382 The engine block was taken to a machine shop and bored .030 over. Do I need a special gasket for that? And if I do can you give me the part number. Thanks
