    Battery low alarm

How old are your batteries? It wouldn't hurt to have them load tested. Make sure all connections are clean and if you can measure the voltage at the battery then at the FF while you start the motor, make sure you have water on. Does the FF turn off or does just the low voltage warning pop up? Is...

omc stringer 400 ignition switch fuse getting hot. (battery Pole)

" i am going to switch this fuse out for a heavier blade fuse" Replacing the fuse holder sounds like a good idea but be careful on installing a higher amperage fuse. The fuse rating matters, you want the fuse to blow before the wire melts.

    Warning horn

Is there any information that you can read on the horn? Post a picture of the alarm. Do you know what the alarm is for? I'm guessing 12volts is applied to the horn when it needs to be activated. With the horn disconnected and ready to be trashed, measure the resistance of the horn, I'm guessing...

    Warning horn

Sounds like the horn is the problem. Before replacing the horn see what you have on each lead with and without the motor on. Do you have a voltmeter?

    Warning horn

leave them disconnected start the motor and see what happens to the fuse. You don't want to connect the wires together since one side may be a ground and the other may be 12volts and you'd be shorting 12v straight to ground.

I agree, remove the warning alarm from the circuit , replace the fuse and fire her up and see what happens.

    Anchoring question

I only do saltwater so I may way off base. That sounds like a very heavy anchor but if that's what you got use it. Pulling on it should be a days workout. The rule of thumb I was told at the coast guard class I took recommends 1 1/2 times the boat length of chain.
