I took I terminal off and it wouldn't do anything so I put it back on. There is a resistor wire that goes to coil and choke. Boat ran good. The volts are still not steady at the coil however and it seems to have a bit of a miss. I'm taking alt back again.
Sorry I realize I sent 2 different ones. It has always been one wire to the starter. That second one is not hooked up to anything i hooked it to soliniod when I was trying to figure out the double shut off. I will send pictures right away as to how it is
Again today...will not shut off with key. I changed ignition switch...didn't help...here's what's going on voltage wise.its like this at coil positive and soliniod I terminal
I have a .6 ohm flame thrower canister type coil. My question is does it need to be grounded to engine by way of the bracket. My boat never had a bracket when I bought it but I know there is one for these coils
