My wife and I got food poisoning from a restaurant not long after we were married. One of the sickest I’ve been.
If you’re squeamish about food prep you don’t want to know what goes on in restaurants. I worked at a very nice fine dining restaurant when I was a kid, the stuff that went on😮
DeepCMark58A is spot on. The old steel is better. An old plumb hatchet would hold up, only drawback is wood handle.
A good machete is a valuable tool for survivalist, as well.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to blame the officials for the loss. It’s just disheartening when you see non call after non call. I think they got most of the close ones right.
Putting up 37 against Oregon is nothing to hang your head about.
Was not impressed with the officiating. They can do better in a championship game. Sitting here this morning watching it again. So many Blatant holding calls on the Ducks offensive line that should have been called.

It’s a thing right now with whiskey. That drives up the price. Look how draft beer prices have risen since the craft beer craze. What used to be $1.50 is now three to five dollars depending where you go. Five dollar drafts are the norm.
With wild turkeys I generally breast them out right in the field and just eat the breast, unless they have some meaty legs which isn’t the norm here. The legs tend to get a little tough and chewy. The forest critters sure like them.
My 13 year old grandson that’s the QB on his junior high team was losing his mind watching that last play. Even he knew what should have been done. Biggest blunder of the year for sure.
Our gang pretty much wiped out the turkey, some left over for Sammy’s. My favorite part of thanksgiving turkey is yet come. Not exactly sure how she goes about it my wife throws the carcass in a pot, boils and picks it and uses some stock and a bunch of other goodies and makes a killer Turkey soup.
