    Gee, run the test in the third paragraph of post #2. It is likely that the prop will ventilate before it trims above the limit Now all you need to do is listen for prop ventilation, which everyone should always do. Alternatively, add a tilt switch to your boat.

    Gee, turn on the blower switch and see with wires ger power. You want a fair amount of current, and I would think a dedicated circuit. Brown/yellow is the standard color for bilge blower power. Obviously the other wire would be black or yellow. Dark blue is nav and interior lights.

    Jimm, The aluminum tanks will develop pinholes on the bottom of the tank. It is best to drain the tank, pull it out and inspect it for corrosion. Most boat builders stopped using aluminum tanks in the early 90's so your tank is likely pretty old. Another reason to inspect it. If it were me...
