    Starting issue

When I troubleshoot things like this I like to use a incandescent test light with a high current bulb. Not led. A meter will show the presence of voltage regardless of the ability to carry any kind of current. I would start at the starter solenoid and work backwards. Don't forget neutral saftey...

    Plywood for deck

I don't think a grand will cover supplies. That's not materials either. Supplies are things like resperator and cartridges.gloves glasses mixing cups.... Just a floor, no stringers 10-15 gal at least. 3/4 marine ply when I did my floor was $75 each before covid. I had to go back to get 1 more...

What about one or two of those cut in vents for your cover to help moisture to get out

    Drain plug question

I would worry about rot. You got 5 gal of water out. How much soaked / seeped into the "bones" of the boat? Foam saturated? Be safe and have someone survey the boat

    Making extra step for ladder

Or .... Galvanized pipe and nipples 2 couplings or caps, 2 90's, 3 nipples at whatever lengths you need, 4-6 hoseclamps. Make a u shape with the couplings or caps at the ends so the u dont slide thru the hose clamps and tighten clamps around ladder sides and u pipe. Position clamp screws away...

Two Layers of 3/4 CSM versus One Layer of 1.5 CSM

Csm is like a "primer". Its hair like random structure is good for filling voids. The "hair ends" stick into all the valleys and crevasses. Then the woven goes on top for the real strength. Granted any glass will add some support but biaxis is stronger. That's what 1708 is..... a 2 in 1 hybrid...

Two Layers of 3/4 CSM versus One Layer of 1.5 CSM

As long as they are laid as one. The weight of the glass is the same. My biggest issue was doing by myself and keeping a wet edge without a mixer/helper. I had to really hustle but got it done with one minor flaw I had to fix where I lifted the glass back up to reposition and got a permabubble I...

    Stringer encapsulation.( Air pockets.)

Pockets can hold water. Try this on a spot and see if you like how it turns out. I got some bags of 1/4" loose chopped glass to add to my peanut butter for strength. Grind out pocket. Mix up some resin and chopped glass and put on spot.

Rehab SportCraft 222 1983 deep V hull cuddy walkaround

My headliner I used "gimp hidem". I had a couple access panels for the same reason. Most of the hidem was stapled in but I tried small screws in these spots and when I tightened down at the last bit the material twisted a bit. I have not gone back to straighten out yet. Looks worse in pictures...

    DIY Marine upholstery and covers?

Wood suggested to me to get an old #15 singer with the gear drive motor, not a belt. They were heavy duty back in the day. All the gears in that machine are quality steel. I bought one and was shipped a belt drive model instead. It was in good condition and with shipping $100. I use that machine...
