    New switch panel wiring

Without being able to see the pinout legend on the side of the switch i am going ti assume they are illuminated spdt switches. So the one side with 3 spades is the switch side. Center is the common (don't confuse with neg or ground) and depending on the switch position one spade will connect to...

    New switch panel wiring

I am going to guess that this is something that is not stock. red is power, black is ground and the 2 colors, blue and yellow, are the switchlegs to the accessories? There is no reason the wires cant follow the same path to get to where they need to go.

    Fuse or circuit protector

I would also not rely on a circuit breaker for primary circuit protection in a marine enviorment due to the possibility of mechanical failure from corrosion

    Fuse or circuit protector

You MUST protect the whole circuit at the power source. The wire must be at least 125% of the ampacity of the protection. You can also protect the device where it takes its power from the wire run. That should be what the dataplate states. If you change wire sizes smaller you MUST again protect...

    Cmc tilt and trim, Help

Just so you know they make those 12v relays in different current ratings from 5 amps all the way up to 100 amps i think is where they stop. And they all look the same and have the same connectors. I would think you need at least a 40 amp for trim motors.

Fibreglass boat floor replacement - do I need to use fiberglass?

Also one of the reasons i went with the plugs was that you bond the deck with the foam thats bonded with the hull. Figured it was stronger.

Fibreglass boat floor replacement - do I need to use fiberglass?

When i poured my foam i had left gaps in the tabbing where floor meets hull as well as the holes for poaring foam. The gaps were 4-6" every 2' or so placed strategically so the air could escape and let the foam go to the sides of the hull instead of just foward. Also had lots of scrap wood and...

Stern drive/inboard engine - sealing transom ring

Without seal and ring I took and coated my screws with grease and then filled the slightly large holes with epoxy (still enough wood for screws to kinda bite). After epoxy was about 98% hard i backed all the screws out. Epoxy should stay put and not come out with screw. Do testing to find what...

    Building a '93 Caravelle 1750 Classic Bowrider

Soooo to get past the staple issue.... If the kerfs are on the foam padding side of the seat just glass that side and leave the back bare. If the kerfs are on the other side leave about 2-3" around the perimeter bare for staples and glass the rest. Then treat the bare wood. Thats one o those...
