    Oops, just reread your post. Says you are at 750 rpm, we call that “forced idle” and a DTC 222 is usually a “derate 2” which holds the engine at about 30% power. You might have more than just this one code. Might need a scan.

    No. This looks to be an electronic throttle body. You won’t believe what this part costs. The good thing is this problem is almost always a wiring issue. You might want to get the service manual and wiring diagram to troubleshoot.

    Looks like a “four winns VDO dash” you can google that and look at the CDI website for troubleshooting. And yes they can be trouble. Don’t know if they still do, but 4winns used to sell a new dash that plugged right in. That’s how the dealership I worked for handled this problem.

    Yes, this. When you prefilled the system you probably didn't get much water in the block because the thermostat was closed. Getting the RPMs up to 1500-2000 helps speed things up and is important for those that have an engine mounted raw water pump (you don't, yours is in the drive).
