    It can take days of medium running speeds to recharge a boat battery up to 13.7 or 14.5 volts. Any fishfinder will take longer. If possible at lower speeds.

    Could be 1 or more injectors slowly leaking out all the pressure / fuel. Takes a while to fully reprime everything sometimes.

    Do a web search of. Direct mount trolling motors.. They mount to the bottom of the main O B motor. All brands and sizes about $ 1,000 and up. No idea if they are reliable. Web search www.trollingmotors.net .

    Carry and throw a old blanket or rug over them. They usually calm down and safer for bird and person. Wear wrap around goggles and winter gloves. Animals can go crazy when they are in a struggling condition. Are they a protected bird ? If not ? A dead 1 or 2 should keep them away from the boat.

    Leaking engine front water pump seal leak ? Or some hose connection . Some spray may find the distributor cap insides.
