    You either have water in the cylinders, your gauge is damaged or those are numbers pulled out of somewhere Looks like the serial number range (1990 to 1994) can have points 8*, DDIS 8* or EST 1* ignition (using jumper). Check for vacuum leak

    As BT said The oil pressure switch probably went bad so it was bypassed, and that is not safe and against Regs The hull makes no difference, it's what motor is in the boat that matters.

    Welcome I moved you to the Merc section from the Glastron, it's a motor question The Purple/Yellow should be on the outside small terminal and goes to the electric fuel pump The Yell/Red wire should be on the inside small terminal

    Welcome Don't know much about the model ski but maybe it's the fuel pump diaphragm. If it uses a pump like some of the old outboards the exhaust pulses is what moves the diaphragm to pump the fuel
