    Some EFI engines do have a Throttle Plate Position Sensor at the the throttle plate. It may be loose and shifted. Is this a sudden new problem ? No It is a new traded engine. Why someone sold it ? Does it need all control cables connected ? to run normally ?

    Do you check several motor parts for wearing out ? Like correct sparkplugs and readjusting the gap if out of specification ? Had the injectors checked out for correct flow rates ?

    The engine is way too small for that boat. Need to remove the prop to get the information stamped into it. Then call the www.propgods.com Ask for Ken. He knows boats & prop combinations very well.
