    Another thing to think about....if you decided to repair it, all the bolts/fasteners might be solidified.....snapping bolts off right and left....saltwater takes a toll on them for sure, especially after 26 years.....

    The only adjustment is the idle mixture screw, #18 in the diagram. A good initial setting is 1 1/2 turns out from lightly seated. Can be adjusted from there if necessary. How is the motor running? Some residual fuel coming from the exhaust is normal, especially after idling for a while.....

    They are automotive panel clip pliers.....got it at Harbor Freight. Yeah the check valves held in by clips are hard to get out.....I had to remount the VB and used the hydraulic pressure to blow them out. You get one out, then can push the other one out, like you did. Your check valves look...
