    Why customers ARE NOT buying new anything. Unless it is non repairable. People should know a company can put a TIMER in the controls to fail at 1 year and 1 month of time. Or anytime they desire. A reboot by a factory technician can restore service for another year. Ethical ?

    I cut the wrong pump wire. :mad: Oh well. Strip and temporary reconnect the good pump wires. The 2 nd pump is in shipment. NAPA cheapest size 24 battery is $125 . OOWWW

    Old motors were rated by cylinder head power. Which excluded all gear train losses. So your motor is not really the prop hp.

    Stupid idiots work on engines........ I have met a LOCKTITED carburetor. Had to drain the carb of gas & fumes. Then used a tiny torch unit on the screws and casting.

    Another use for the Timing Light Gun. It SHOULD ALWAYS flash steadily at all speeds !! If you move the clip on part to each plug wire ??? It should ALWAYS have a steady same intensity flashing light. I carefully tape on the clip on part to the ignition cable. MAKE SURE the clip is FULLY...
