    Thank you jimmbo. I just redid the quick putting my palm over the carburetor intake while idling. No more gas droplets on my hand. I still need to add in the Sea Foam. To both fuel tanks. Is there a idle air bleed path in the carburetor ?

    It is very possible that your water depth is just to low. Happens Fill a large pot of water. Large enough to set the pump level on the bottom. Pull the hose off of the pump. Wires connected to run the pump. It should pump like crazy. It will toss water everywhere (y).

    You have a open wire or a open squeezed on connector. Or loads of battery post corrosion. Need to use a voltmeter with 1 lead on 1 battery post. The other lead is moved along each wire connection until you get a jump up and dowm place.

    2 bad fuel pumps ? Or is there avacuum in the fuel tank ? Try removing the fill cap on the fuel tank to be sure there is no vacuum. Edit Remove sparkplugs to check if they are NOT perfectly clean. Can you post pictures of the plug ends ?

    For decades I have only used Marine Hi Test with no Ethanol in it. There has been no varnish build up. I also have a fine mesh filter in a glass bowel filter.. I also always run the fuel tanks to completely dry. I am just getting very forgetful about everything.

    Simply REMOVE the propeller. Then you can use a 55 gallon drum. You have to keep checking the water temperature for getting too hot. Still need at least enough depth in the barrel to cover the inlet holes after the pump FILLS the engine up. You are doing a risky setup.
