    Why do you think you need a replacement? The short white housing in the picture is rebuildable. It was made so that just about any engine ever built could be adapted to a Volvo using a SAE style flywheel housing.

    That looks like a Det Mar or a Marmac rotary which I am sure is long out of production. I would look into the Optimus electric steering instead of hydraulic. It is not cheap but easier to install.

    OMC 460 vacuum test/reading

    Do not try to readjust the carburetor if you check the vacuum with the boat in the water. The back pressure of the water against the exhaust always shows a lower reading.

    It is normal for the manifolds to have a different temperature. Sometime it can be balanced by trying different size stainless flat washers to the manifold inlet of the cooler manifold. A infrared temperature gun would help.

    You are right on about that Scott. I added the Indmar thermostat kit to keep condensation from building up under the valve covers on my boat. Not a cheap part but worth it. That was always a problem with the boats I used to work on. The bottom line is to use quality hose.
