5.0gi Pefs engine wiring sorta question

If your unable to find a Tan/Blk wire in the harness, then it is not installed and has no issue with motor running. That said, without that connection the motor can run out of oil, overheat and it will not let you know

Note there are 2 screws (one on top/bottom) of the shift cam. The top screw is not installed currently, and you know this just pointing it out. When that screw is removed the drive is not shifting, because the shift lever is unable to move the cam in either direction Lock nuts are torqued to...

    Engine Starting Issue

Your serial number comes up as a motor with catalytic converters, EC version so it might be closed cool with a heat exchanger, a pic of the motor would verify. For it to just shut down it might throw a code. The motor shows a PCM and may have Digital or standard cable controls. Being a 1994...

MD7A: Fresh water to raw water?

In most cases there has always been issues changing over the fresh after motor has been run on raw for a while. Would need to see/understand how hosing is done/routed to provide comment. With things build up it might be easier to go back, I don't know

Double engine failure in ten minutes

Being that both motors had the same issue then don't see the need to check spark or injectors. Checking fuel pressure would be good to know, but betting just checking the filters and quality of fuel may give insight

Excessive fuel during fuel filter change

If your fuel filter is below the fuel tank pickup fitting, and you don't have a antisiphon valve on the pickup, it will siphon the tank dry.

    Volvo Penta 4.3gxi-f

Looks to be code 1642 buzzer open With both doing it I would suspect 12V connection coming from the key power side (purple wire) going to the buzzer. Then the ground side of the buzzer back to the motors (pin 4) Most likely its a loose or corroded connection
