    Starcraft on C-list/ebay!

http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/boa/4937748296.html Old School with a bracket built for two. I love the look of the bow on these. A 58 Holiday Lone Star. I'd love to bring it home but a frying pan would be the least of my worries.

    mysterious StarCraft? Or maybe not..

There would be a line of rub rails about mid way up the side, like the SC in my sig pic. From the seat description it sounds like a Star Trek V. Have not been many of those here. Edit - a 16'er , I think I saw a bench up front. Welcome to the Starmada.:welcome: :D

Lone Star Medallion II 1966, Oh Scrap!

While sitting in the hull I was debating the ability to make the hull water tight. If that is not possible it pushes the use of poured in foam out the door. It would also require building a structure to support the hull and floor. One of my thoughts would be to use pieces of the above...

Lone Star Medallion II 1966, Oh Scrap!

Spent a little time working on cleaning up the hull. Removed the bow eye, was hoping to save it but the threads were trashed and they broke when removing. Evidence of water leaking at the bow eye. The keel is about 1 1/2" deep 1" wide and is exposed from about where your feet would be...

Lone Star Medallion II 1966, Oh Scrap!

Ol' Man Winter has kept me away from outside boat work for too many weeks. The boat has twice as much snow on top of the cover. I did do a little more gathering. Negotiated a 3 for the price of 2 from a xbay seller on a set of VDO gauges. The black paint was very ugly. It would flake...

    1964 Lone Star Medallion

Your pics are probably the best look at an original interior out there. That is a 1963 literature pic from Fiberglassics. I have a '66 Medallion II, there are many design difference between the two. I like the sliding hatch, but what happens to the glass. In the above pic it looks like...

    Temp Gauge is it bad?

My project came with and old Stewart Warner temp gauge. It reads 140 not hooked up. Markings are from 100 to 240. Trying to figure out if it is shot. My understanding is that this a 12v system and the temp sensor would limit the voltage from 0 to 12 volts depending on the temp. As it sits...

Lone Star Medallion II 1966, Oh Scrap!

The plug did come out. Think the PO put some JB Weld on it. Picked up some new brass fittings which fill the hole and match the size of the hull vent barb. Also found some thread sealant that is rated for gasoline. Was thinking about access to the drain hole. Might look at...

    Mid 70's Starcraft splashwell removal

No tag on the gunnel edge? If it is 18' could be an SS, Mariner, Offshore, even a Holiday with a bowectomy. Looks nice and clean on the inside. Splash well looks like my Mariner but the transom cut is different. The splash well still supports the hull and some form of support is needed...

Lone Star Medallion II 1966, Oh Scrap!

The project came with a 20 gallon fuel tank. It will fit under the spashwell. One issue is it will block easy access to the drain hole. I would have to plug it from the outside. Another issue is pretty sure this is where the vent should be. What would be the best way to allow this...
