    "Preignition failure", agree... with prices of tha used stuff (power heads) on tha market and tha chances of someone pawnin' off junk (unless you actually know tha person with tha part/parts) now days you might be better off fixin' that one.. depends on what kinda shop ya have ta do tha machine...

    correct, tha bigger one is tha oiler module but tha smaller one is tha 16 amp regulator

    thats a tell tale for fuel delivery.. possible justa the bulb but probably gonna be tha mech pump........ jmo.

    actually whatever it takes for it ta run in tha driveway but ta get it right ya need ta reset idle timing (10/32 screw on timing arm) in gear, in tha lake ta whatever speed/rpm makes you and tha motor happy.... timing numbers do not mater except for MAX TIMING number.... set it at 22* after ya...

    sorry ta hear that.. glad ya healin' up though!!! tha white/black should make a joint in tha plastic sheath before it gets to tha module.. it will connect tha other switch box.. jus make a short jumper outta tha white/black to connect tha two switch boxes.. remove tha red/white and chunk tha...

    This above............ if you do change tha shaft shaft seal jus be careful to take care that you do not let tha shaft rise when you pull tha seal... prop shaft seals won't have anything ta do with leaking at intakes but will allow water ta enter tha case.....

    think tha one in my link is 90-97658.. its in tha link if ya can get it opened on a lap top by copy n paste tha address........ you can jus block 'em off and it will run.. won't hurt a thing.. it will jus load up at idle but should clear up with throttle added........... make sure tha motor is...

    don't forget #3 (tubing, seal).... also check both pieces for any cracks while ya have 'em off............... also if any of tha exhaust ports are really clean ya may need ta take a closer looks at tha pistons and cylinders.........

    remove all and leave all tha plugs on their wires then ground tha plugs to tha block.. even number one.. there is a "chance" (not written in stone but) of wipin' out a switch box with ungrounded coils when crankin'.. if it turns over to fast and starter kicks out to early put one at a time back...
