    OK I will have it sit for now and get it bolted down first thing when I have a free day. Is it too much also if I were to attach the hook on top of the engine to the cherry picker for added support in case the stand decided to tip?

    What do you mean when you say to establish a way to keep the motor from zipping to one side? What is the pisser?

    Put my cherry picker to use today. Getting the engine mounted on the stand was difficult.... because the back wheels in the stand were wider than the width of the crane. There was no easy way to get the crane right above the mount.... but I eventually and carefully got it seated. The blue cut...

    Alright, alright...I'll fess up......So I did a thing.....probably against anyone's liking. I know I mentioned a while back that I was talking to a guy who had a 30+ year old Mercury motor that he would sell to me as in after he got it into working order for 1350 with power trim. Don't worry...

    Still here. Haven't given up. Wanted to work on her yesterday and today but instead worked on obtaining tools necessary for reconstruction. Went and got a motor stand from Facebook marketplace and folding cherry picker from harbor freight. I know I'm probably crazy for getting one new for one...

    😂😂😂 Winter King HAHAHA. Now there's a name for the boat! LOL..... It's been such warm weather! You bet your a$$ that I am going to utilize it to get on the water sooner!!!!
