    All aluminum cylinder heads warp with time.-----A flat surface of glass / table saw can be used with emery cloth to true it up.-----Or valve grinding compound as well.----Never seen one that was not warped to some degree.

    It is a shame that a mechanic / shop would quote for a rebuild without checking for blown head gasket.-----The head is warped.-----So refinish it and install a new head gasket.---Go boating.-----It might not hurt to tell the mechanic what you found.-----Might not treat you the same way next time.

    The little black wire and the white wire have to do with the trim gauge !----Trim / tilt will work fine with those little wires thrown on your garage floor !!

    Oil is put into the gas to lubricate the internals.-----Oil inside the engine is constantly replace with clean oil.----But oil in the gas is a big mystery for many folks.

    They show a 125 HP commercial model with a tiller in 1997.----Are you looking for a tiller motor ?----Have parts for a 70 HP tiller here.---Have a long tiller handle suitable for a V-4 here too.----Your location ?-----The V-4 was available with tiller handle steering for some years.----Clearly...

    Oh well----I am wrong again I guess.----But are you aware that your motor has 3 separate crankcases ?

    If there is a hole in fuel pump diaphragm then 1 cylinder might be flooded and cannot ignite that fuel.-----And that fuel will go right through the motor and out the exhaust.
