    Proper Manual ? ?

Not sure but omc made quite a few changes in 91 to 92. I just saw an 1989 one online a few minutes ago.

    Proper Manual ? ?

In smaller motors there is quite a difference between 1994 and 1989 but many things will be the same. Hope this helps.

    CROSSFLOW PERFORMANCE ?'s

A two battery system is always better and I wouldn't be caught without them. With a two battery selection switch whatever battery needs charging you just switch too. Still doesn't explain why your motor bogged down.

    CROSSFLOW PERFORMANCE ?'s

The 17 volt thing seems to have many opinions online. Certainly doesn't explain why your motor went down. 2 strokes love WOT......

    Troubleshooting 1999 Johnson 225 HO

Again, solid beep is overheat and I do believe any alarm sets limp mode. Somewhat spit balling here. There is a low warning in the oil tank and thought maybe....but the tank is gone so someone must have dealt with those wires. You can test your pressure gauge pretty easily by removing the tube...

    1993 4HP Johnson

Looks like you have a fine looking outboard. Next time, and let's hope you never need to, two screws removes the fuel pump giving you plenty of clearance. Enjoy.

Getting shocked in forward and reverse.

Probably something inside the box. I know a few captains that could use that function!

    What is this hole

Do those have a tell tale? Backfiring to me, is to much fuel or improper timing. Make sure spark plugs are not fouled and lean it out some. Either way you will need to play with the idle screw to correct it or rule it out. Lean sneeze makes a different noise and the motor shakes side to side...

    What is this hole

Timing usually. Did you run it long and did it get hot?

Evinrude 35hp +/-1980 missfire at higher rpm (lower cylinder)?

18 ft pounds on the head bolts starting in the middle and working outward in a x pattern. I don't use anything on the head gasket but perhaps others do. After you flatten the head out make sure to clean it very well. No fine metal shavings can go into the motor.
