Check that....unavailable. weird usually when they put a price on it it's available. Not in this case. You will have to make your own.

Choke harness fried on ‘86 Evinrude

Part number 36. You might also need 38 and 34 unless you can save the old one.

Choke harness fried on ‘86 Evinrude

Is that all back at the motor? Hard to tell from picture. If so are the wires ok at the control box? You have a primer not a choke so you obviously have a short somewhere. I see replacement wires online but pricey. Also, need to know which wiring assembly. Post model number of outboard.

    Water coming out mid section

Not sure everyone knows that first picture is a video. Also, not sure why water is coming out there but tell tale seems to be pumping well.

    Water coming out mid section

Well it ran fine and then it didn't.... Should be easy to diagnose. First check for GOOD spark. Then I'm assuming you might have used old fuel or questionable fuel. Remove carb and clean/rebuild carb.

Inboard fuel tank clogged filters and pickup tube

Not sure I would do this recommendation but years ago when I was young my boat stopped running and I noticed my primer bulb was caved in. My brother and I removed the pickup tube and noticed the screen all plugged up. Since I was running a large size spin on fuel filter we decided to just remove...

Deformed water pump housing, sign of overheat?

I agree with the above responses....looks fine or normal wear. Replace and test for temperature.

I think what your saying is it's turning over now but it won't start....or run. Correct? Next thing to check for is a spark....do you own a spark plug tester? It's possible you haven't fixed all of the wires.

1959 35HP Frothy Caramel Colored Oil

You might find something but overall that's normal....sometimes grayish emulsified oil and water and sometimes black slightly burnt unburnt oily looking 2 stroke fuel. People write in all the time saying "Hey, what's this ......" There are as even a recent post from a guy that had it all over...

    1972 Evinrude 25202r compression

Mid grade is fine. Ethanol is not, especially when storing. Any carburator is picky....most likely you will need to clean the carb. Do the fuel test first and that should tell the story.

    1972 Evinrude 25202r compression

80's low in my book but might not explain why it's not running. What gas are you buying? And could that vacuum hose be the culprit? See any decaying matter coming off of it? Try a little spray bottle with 50 to 1 fuel in it, spray some in the carb and see if it starts. If it does than you know...

    Choke solenoid or primer solenoid

You might have to drill and tap a nipple for the primer hose. Look at the other carbs and see if they have a nipple from the primer.

    Smelly 2-Stroke

Even a 4 stroke with wind at your back has fuel smells so not sure you can get around it. Expect smoke at startup but if your seeing lots of it after it warms up then maybe something is wrong. Tough one because nobody knows how sensitive your nose is.

    1993 4HP Johnson

Stuck closed.... Okay. Wasn't sure and I wanted to make sure before you went to the trouble of replacing it. You should probably check the wire from where you popped it out of the rubber plug back to the switch for any chaffing and contacting a ground but the switches fail often.

Adding a water pressure gauge to 1987 70ETLH

At the end of the day the audible alarm is the best. You can have water pumping fine (good reading at psi gauge) and still get an overheat from something farther up the cooling system. If you want the best of both worlds put in a temp gauge and a pressure gauge if you feel it's necessary to...

Key word here is "appears" You can't guess. Do you have a meter and know how to use one? Not super difficult. You can try jiggling your shift throttle lever because maybe the neutral switch got messed up when changing out the key switch.
