    In that Day and Age the Serial Number would have been located just above the Tilt Tube, on the Yoke. It should also be on an Aluminium Plug, stuck in the Engine Block

    That looks like a 68 or 69 Engine Cowl wrap, not a 71 The engine likely overheated at some point and some covers warped a bit and are now leaking. It is also missing a few Parts

    I prefer to leave the PCV in place as it is providing a mix of Air and some Hydrocarbons, which need to be taken into Account when doing the Mixture Adjustment. Adjust the Mixture for the Highest Manifold Vacuum, not a Specific Vacuum Value.

    Are referring to this hole(red arrow) That is just access to a bolt A strong Stream from the Pisser, only means that at that Instance the Pump is still pumping. If the Impeller is more than a couple of Years old, well you are gambling

    Follow the Wires from the Connector back Check the 7 pin Connector for Power when the Tail/Running Lights are on. Perhaps the Wire is on the Pin for you Adapter to work Worse comes to Worst, you can always, splice into the wire that feeds the Tail Lights.

    Buick Roadmaster, has a Factory Trailer Option good for 5000lbs. I also have a 95 Caddy(12,000 on the Odometer) that has that Option, good for 7000lb. I hate Trucks, the seats are very Uncomfortable. Cadillacs used to have Nice Seats, not anymore
